House Party Planner – We Organise House Parties & Birthdays

Many clients come to Capability Events – The House Party Planner – looking for an excuse to show off a new house, if they have moved to a new area, or just finished an extension. What better way to celebrate than by getting everyone together to show off!

No space inside?

One of the main problems we encounter as house party planners is that most houses don’t have space for a dance floor and it can often be a great idea to shut parts of the house up as the evening progresses. If you don’t want your sofas stained with Red wine when you wake up in the morning, setting up a dance tent in the garden can be a great solution and as the drink flows you can kick all the youngsters outside!

WE SPECIALISE IN THE WOW FACTOR

At Capability Events we specialise in the wow factor and that starts from when your guests first arrive at the front of your house.  Using real flame gas flambeaux’s, wash lighting, and of course a red carpet what better way to welcome your guests to your home.  Having guests walk up to your front door can be so much more personable than inviting them around the back to a marquee!  Once inside our staff can offer reception drinks and canapés to your guests.

Start in the house – Dance in the Marquee

Depending on your layout and how much space you have, you can then take guests straight through to the party in your garden, or start in the house and move people through to the garden later on.  Depending on the time of year, we can serve drinks on your patio or terrace and set up patio heaters to keep off the chill of while guests mill around.

PROVIDING THE FULL PACKAGE

Outside in the Marquee, we can install a bar, with bar staff and all of the stock, if you like, to provide your guests with delicious cocktails all night long! We will also install a mobile nightclub, to include a DJ, sound system, and dancefloor in the marquee.  If you are worried about the noise disturbing your neighbours later on you should consider a silent disco, not only is this silent, but guests can choose from 2 different channels of music so dance to whatever they fancy!

For your very own event, whatever the occasion, please contact us.

Wow, just wow, Ben and the team gave us the party of a lifetime. From initial contact, through planning every single detail with me Ben was always there to suggest, advise and make it work. The day/night itself was just perfect, really the wow factor. Ben arranged the DJ who was excellent, Bucci Pizza, truly delicious and the Magician who was perfect and really got people of all ages engaged and amazed. This was not a party we will forget in our lifetime, so many guests have told me the same.

This wasn't just putting up a marquee and making arrangements, it was the silent, smooth organisation on the night, lighting, timings... This was astonishing. I would never use anyone else in future.

Capability are literally phenomenal, they’ve just completed our 4th event and we couldn’t be happier. Ben is amazing and always gets the brief and his staff are fantastic. Everything was perfect down to the smallest detail. Our daughter’s recent 18th party was seamless and needed very little effort from us. Quite literally the best party planners out there and we wouldn’t use anyone else! Thanks again capability for another epic party.

Brilliant party! Ben did an amazing job pulling together everything we wanted for our gathering. The garden looked amazing with the stretch marquee, fire arch/entrance, uplit trees. Would happily work with Ben again.
Thank you

We booked Capability events to organise a "Festival" themed party in our garden for 250 guests for a joint 50th, 21st and 18th birthday. From our first contact with Ben he was superb. He gave us every confidence that he knew exactly what he was doing and would put on a great luxury event for us.
The party was originally due to take place in March 2020 but due to the pandemic restrictions was postponed 4 times. Ben therefore planned for it potentially taking place over 4 seasons but each time was able to make it work. When it did eventually happen in September he transformed our garden into a festival arena with a fabulous marquee, 2 bars, flags and flame burners. He hired a fantastic DJ who kept the dance floor packed with two generations of friends and family all night. His advice on quantity of alcohol and food was spot on and he even guided us on how to manage the neighbours and keep the noise reasonable - his suggestion to revert to a silent disco for the last hour was genius!
His crew were excellent from those who set it all up and cleared up the day after, his friendly smiley bar staff and the security.
The feedback we had from our guests was phenomenal with "the best party they have ever been to" being the general theme.
We can not recommend Ben and Capability highly enough - very professional, easy to work with and absolutely know what they are doing.

I have had the pleasure of working with Ben and his team on a number of large projects in the UK and cannot speak highly enough of their services. Capability offered tailored solutions to our needs and were a joy to deal with from start to finish.
