Beautiful 1920’s Flapper Themed 21st/50th Birthday party marquee on a Tennis court
Our team was tasked with creating a sophisticated 1920s-themed party in East Sussex for a joint 21st and 50th birthday party. We aimed to capture the essence of a grand 1920 theme party.
Private Party Planning
Our client was a very private individual and had limited time but a very strong vision for the theme for this event. We worked closely with him to made it even better than he imagined.
Guests were welcomed to the event with a Champagne Reception on the lawn followed by entertainment from The Gatsby Girls who brought the 1920s to life from the moment they arrived, making it a memorable 1920 theme party.
1920’s Theme Throuout the marquee
Partygoers were then led to the marquee decorated with 1920’s props to match the theme. Among the decorations was a spectacular 1m mirror ball, a Wisteria Tree in the middle of the bar, cordless table lamps, and gold palm trees which added to the vibe of the 1920 theme party!
A 3-course meal was served to the guests while DR Jazz and a roaring 1920s band comprising of trumpet/vocals and various other instruments played to create an authentic vintage sound.
After dinner and speeches, it was time to hit the dance floor. Guests danced along to the sound of trumpets, saxophones, and drums played by ALR Music at their lively 1920 theme party.
COCKTAILS, Dancing and a SILENT DISCO
At this party, guests were treated to not only our usual bar menu but also delicious cocktails by Cocktail Chemistry’s mixologists, with bar staff appropriately dressed in White Tuxedo Jackets to match the 1920’s theme, contributing to the 1920 theme party atmosphere.
The party didn’t end there; pizzas were served later in the evening to soak up the alcohol before the silent disco got underway. At the end of the night, the partygoers headed to the camping village which we had created with 20 sleeping tipis, this worked particularly well as the party was located in a very rural location with limited train links especially at 4am on a Sunday morning!
