Capability Events Ltd is a premium party and event planning company based in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. We organise luxury events for private and corporate clients across the UK.
We possess a wealth of experience running special occasions with our top team of event organisers and professional crew who are the ultimate experts at making events come to life.

Perfect party planning from the top professionals
Managing Director, Ben Leeke, an alumni of the Royal Agricultural College, launched Capability Events in 2003 to provide high-end bespoke private parties. Within just two months his clients included Virgin, the BBC and a host of celebrities.
Capability’s success is founded on the contacts and knowledge Ben gathered during 15 years of organising social events for large country house and castle venues.
Today the business focus is on private parties such as 18th, 21st and 40th birthday celebrations plus corporate brand events and promotional support for clients such as Levi Strauss, the Moët Hennessey group and Jaguar Land Rover.
Capability Events also run one of the biggest and best fund-raising black-tie events in the country, the Fox Rocks Ball, which features in Tatler and Horse & Hound magazines.

1980
Ben Leeke starts organising events from the age of 15 and establishes his own version of the celebrated ‘Hellfire Club’.

December 1999
The Black and White Millennium Ball is produced by Ben and attended by 3,500 guests with top acts performing on a stage built on the front of a huge country house.
1999-2002
Ben works as an exclusive event consultant and party organiser for some of the UK’s leading country houses and castles.

May 2003
Capability Events Ltd is launched to meet a growing need for expert party and event planning.
July 2003
Capability hits the ground running organising parties for such major clients as the BBC and Virgin as well as various celebrities and private individuals.

2008
Capability begins running what becomes the biggest hunt ball in the country - Fox Rocks - which grows to 1300 partygoers.

2015
Capability runs Livestock festival, attracting top names from Reef to the Fratellis.

2017
Capability welcomes the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to one of our marquees when they open a new building at Manchester University!

December 2018
Capability go international, helping Veuve Clicquot New York launch their personalisation pop-up in Grand Central Station.
