Cocktails in the Snow. A 21st Birthday Party

Cocktails in the Snow. A 21st Birthday Party

Capability goes to Cambridgeshire in the snow…….

Our brief was to produce an epic 21st Birthday Party in the front garden of the family home for 120 guests, a night not to forget. So that’s what we did…

Snow and gales battered the garden initially, but battling through proved worthwhile as the layer of snow gave a beautiful backdrop for the lighting and party on the night. We provided plenty of stylish black umbrellas to enable guests to move from the champagne reception in the house down to the main marquee without collecting a dusting of snowflakes, and the heated marquee meant the hangers filled up quickly with coats and jackets once guests were inside.

After meandering along the red carpet, lit by fairylights and real flames, guests then entered the chill out zone complete with sofas and bean bags, paused at the well-stocked bar to acquire themselves a cocktail and took their places at their tables for a bespoke silver service three course meal.

Following the meal, speeches and cake, guests took to the dance-floor in force to enjoy the full nightclub experience – dancing to a top London DJ, sipping cocktails made by our experienced mixologists and partying into the night. Some guests even got involved and had a go at making cocktails themselves assisted by our flamboyant flair bartender.

Guests with aching dancing feet could relax in the chill out area, lounging with a G&T on comfy sofas and bean bags before hitting the dancefloor again.

As with all our events it’s not the individual things we do that make the party, it was the combination of experience, hard work and set up that created an unforgettable night – for all the right reasons!
