How can I pay?
We accept payment via the following methods:-
Cash paid over
the counter at your local branch of Lloyds Bank:-
Take your invoice from us,
as it has our bank details, to any branch of Lloyds Bank and ensure you
get it stamped as proof of payment. This is an instant way of paying your
invoice and will not cost you a penny.
Cheque paid over the counter at your local branch of Lloyds Bank:-
Take your invoice from us, as it has our bank details, to any branch of
Lloyds Bank and ensure you get it stamped as proof of payment. This method will take 4 working days to clear into our
account, however it will show on our account within 24hrs. It is not an instant
way of paying your invoice but will not cost you a penny.
Cheque via Royal
Mail-
Can be extremely unreliable. We regularly receive cheque's posted 1st
class that have taken 10 days to travel 30 miles. The system has fallen
to pieces. The only way to ensure a proper service is to send Registered
Post or Special Delivery. Once received the cheque will take 4 working
days to clear.
CHAPS transfer:-
Same day transfer of funds if processed before 2pm. Otherwise
24 hrs transfer. Ensure you get a receipt. Most clients will need to visit
their bank to process a CHAPS transfer. Some banks charge up to £20.00 to
process a CHAPS payment. Some people can action a CHAPS payment over the
phone.
BACS transfer:-
4 working days to transfer funds
(3 days is a lie told by banks), longer if across a weekend. Ensure you get
a receipt or print off the processing page. BACS can be performed online
however it is not the same as an Internet Banking Payment. Most clients will
be able to do a BACS payment by either calling their bank, visiting a branch
or filling in a form and faxing it to their bank. Usually about 35p to process.
Internet Bank Transfer, Internet Bank Payment, Payment Via your internet
bank account:-
This is the one you have to watch. All banks seem to be different
in the way they handle a payment made by you via your internet banking. Some
seem to be very fast, almost instant if within banking hours, others times
it can be 24hrs. Some seem to be quick into some accounts and very slow into
others. There really is no way to tell apart from experience with your particular
internet banking. The worst seem to be the old building societies who can
take up to ten working days to process a payment especially into a business
account. Beware this is not the best method of payment if you are on a deadline!
Credit and Debit Card
Payments:-
We take Visa, Mastercard, Maestro or Solo. Please call 01684 833133 and
we will take your payment. If you pay by credit card we will have to charge
you 4% to cover the charges made by your card provider (Sorry). If you pay
by Debit Card however there is no additional charge. Paying by Credit Card
affords you the protection offered by your card issuing company. In the unlikely
event of Capability Events Ltd ceasing to trade, your money paid to us,
is protected by your credit card company.
