Are you insured?
Yes. We carry the following:-
£5 Million Public Liability. (If we hurt you)
£5 Million Product Liability. (If any of our products hurts you)
£5 Million Employers Insurance. (If I hurt one of my employees)
We also also strongly recommend that you take insurance against your event
not happening for a reason either within our outside your control. For example
bad weather, death of a relative etc. You could find yourself in the difficult
situation where you cannot hold the event and you have incurred substantial
costs. This is where event insurance would cover you if your situation
fell within the insurance policy.
You may also need to check your own house, company or venue insurance
as sometime this covers you for your event.
Damage to our equipment.
We accept a considerable amount of wear and tear to our equipment whilst
it is on hire to you. We very rarely charge for glass breakages or stains
on Chill Out Furniture as
these are rarely worth the paperwork. However we would charge if a marquee
or other large item was damaged.
We do not recommend one insurer over another but our own insurance company
is Doodsons. They
are a specialist event insurance company. Perhaps too specialist if you are
just after standard event insurance for your wedding or party.
